Analysis, odds and picks for the last day of the Champions League, the Anorthosis-Apollon derby and the double of AEK Athens...

Wednesday feels like... a weekend. Many important games are scheduled for today.

We will find out tonight the other two teams that will book a place in the semi-finals of the Cyprus Cup. Two games are taking place and dominated by the super derby between Anorthosis and Apollon, of course. Earlier, AEK are the favourites to qualify against Union away from home. We remind you that the matches are one-off and in case of a draw, half-hour extra time will follow followed by... penalty shootout.

Apart from ours... the last round of the League Phase of the Champions League is held tonight. All games will kick off at 22:00 and there will be a definitive clarification as to which teams will definitively book their place in the top eight which gives them direct qualification, others to enter the 9-24 places, which means continuation in the institution through the playoffs, and others just for the last show in the top inter-club competition this season, having been mathematically eliminated.

We remind you of the tie-breaking criteria in the League Phase:
-Goal difference

-Best attack

-Best away attack

-Wins

-Wins away from home

-Points won against League Stage opponents

-Goals scored against opponents in the League Stage

-Best attack against opponents in the League Stage

-Lower discipline points

-Team ranking in the UEFA ranking

After the 7th round, seven more teams have emerged that will be mathematically in the knockout stage, with Celtic, Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Feyenoord and AC Milan ready to be present in the next round.

Of course, we also have two teams who already know that whatever happens next week in the League Phase finale, they are guaranteed a place in the round of 16 and the talk is of Liverpool and Barcelona.

Below you will find a detailed view of all the racing action:

ENP-AEK (18:30)

Pairing with AEK as clear favourites for qualification. The "crimson" won't throw in the towel, but their primary goal is to fight for survival until the end of the play-offs. The visitors have the quality, the roster and even if Henning Berg makes changes, they have the upper hand to reach the semi-final stage of the Cup.

ANORTHOSIS-APOLLON (19:30)

A very big game is expected to take place at "Antonis Papadopoulos", which will be almost packed. Both teams are fighting for entry into the top six in the league and definitely want to qualify for the Cup. It really is a difficult game to predict in all respects.

BARCELONA-ATLANTA (22:00)

Pavlidis did things and things, had the biggest night of his career, but... he didn't celebrate! Despite the Greek forward's hat-trick and despite twice leading by two goals, Benfica saw Barcelona come back and leave the Da Luz with an unlikely double (4-5) last week. This incredible turnaround kept Barcelona in 2nd place in the League Phase. On the other hand, Atalanta continued without brakes in the 7th round of the League Phase of the Champions League, crushing Sturm 5-0. The home side have already qualified for the next stage, but if Atalanta lose tonight, there is a chance that they could be out of the last eight.

BREST-REAL MADRID (22:00)

At the "Veltins Arena", Shakhtar Donetsk were excellent and won 2-0 against Brest last week. A three-point win brought the Ukrainians to 7 points and kept them alive in the battle for the last 24, while the French are down to 13 but have secured qualification. On the other hand, Real Madrid had a predictably easy task against Salzburg, whom they crushed 5-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. With this victory, the "Queen" moved up to twelve points and now goes for... all in tonight, looking for a place in the top eight.

INTER-MONACO (22:00)

Inter lock up the top eight in the League Phase of the Champions League with another professional win. Simone Inzaghi's side held the nil for another game, found a goal through Lautaro, who has been on a roll, and cruised past Prague, beating Sparta 1-0. On 16 points and in 4th place, the Nerazzurri will have to do things or die to miss out on direct qualification to the last 16. Champions League. Monaco got a great win against Aston Villa (1-0) and keep their hopes alive for the last 8.

MANCHESTER CITY-CLUB BREEZE (22:00)

We are experiencing unprecedented moments. It's unbelievable what is happening this season with Pep Guardiola's once invulnerable team. City were leading 2-0 at the Parc des Princes and looked to be embracing a qualifying win, but the dreaded Paris rolled over them, won 4-2 and now Guardiola's side are out of the last 24. After the final whistle, Citizens coach Pep Guardiola admitted that his side did not deserve to qualify for the next round of the competition, while they are 25th in the table. "It is indeed possible to be eliminated, that's the reality. If we don't beat Brugge, we don't deserve to qualify..." the Spanish coach said among other things. The visitors came out of last week's game with a goalless draw against Juventus (0-0), but remain in the running for the Champions League play-offs.
