APOEL to Moldova to finish the job

Marquinhos' winning goal in the first game against Petrocoub made APOEL the favourites for today's second leg in Moldova in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

Good in the first half and naturally tired in the second half due to the strenuous preparation. David Gayego's team travelled to Moldova for the first time and wants to combine their presence there with qualification to the third qualifying round (Slovan Bratislava vs Celje) and securing the Confederations League.

Petrocub showed a dangerous team in the first game and the blue and yellow team will have to be concentrated in defense and efficient in attack to fulfill their mission.

As for the match data, Lhasa Dvali is feeling better and as the Spanish coach said after the first game, he will be able to help in the second leg. If he doesn't make it then Cipriano, who did quite well in the first game, will take his place.

From there, it is unlikely that there will be any changes to the eleven.

APOEL are favourites to qualify, and there are plenty of options in this game.
