Sunday's schedule includes big games. In England, Italy and England, while there is also a great derby in basketball with Olympiacos welcoming Panathinaikos.
A great game is expected in London, between Arsenal and Liverpool for the 9th round in the world's top league. Both teams are coming off important victories in the Champions League, Arsenal over Shakhtar and Liverpool at the expense of Leipzig, which maintained the Reds' unassailable lead.
Arsenal, however, are not in the best of form, as the narrow win over Shakhtar slightly healed the wounds left by the defeat to Bournemouth, which left them in 3rd place with 17 points, three less than Manchester City and four less than their current opponents.
The game is predicted to be tight and open to all outcomes.
Another great derby, this time in Italy, is expected to attract the attention of football fans. Inter and Juventus will clash in Milan for the 9th round of the league, with both teams having midweek games.
Their games were decided in stoppage time and ended with the same score, 0-1. Juventus were beaten by Sturgard and Inter beat Young Boys with a lot of difficulty.
In Italy, both teams are expected to battle it out for the scud, with last year's champions showing they are more ready to win it. Of course, in addition to Inter and Juventus, there is also Napoli, who are leading the standings.
Tonight's derby is not going to determine the outcome, but it is important, as Inter's eventual victory will see them overtake Juventus at +4, while if the Big Lady wins, they will overtake their rival and gain the momentum they need.
The home side are the favourites as they have the psychology, with Juventus looking for a reaction in a very important game.
AEL-AEK (19:00)
AEK will travel to Limassol with the title of favourites to face AEL in the 8th round of the Cypriot league.
AEK have acquired the identity of Henning Berg and are now marching from win to win and gaining steps in the standings. After an impressive 1-0 win over APOEL in Nicosia, the Larnaca side followed up their impressive 1-0 win over Anorthosis at home by the same score.
These wins extended the winning streak to four games, three in the league and one in the cup, and as a result, AEK have tremendous confidence for today's admittedly difficult game in Limassol.
AEL, albeit difficult, overcame the resistance of Nea Salamina and came through the "Famagusta" with a 2-0 win. What is remarkable in the case of the Limassol team is that along with Paphos, they are the only ones to score in all league games.
Coleman's yellows have two victories in their last two games and are optimistic to achieve a treble and climb up the table.
Ivan Triskowski is injured and therefore will not be able to face his former team, with whom he had great moments.
The French league's club match will be played in the 9th round. Marseille are strongly challenging Paris Saint-Germain's dominance, with both teams being called upon to settle their differences in the first big game of the season.
The visitors are on 20 points, three more than Marseille, who would draw level with their big rivals with a win.
The game is expected with huge interest in France and the rest of Europe, as it is a very big derby that captures the attention of millions of football fans.
De Cherby's side are coming off a 5-0 win against Montpellier, while Paris beat Strasbourg 4-2 in the league. Last Tuesday, they played out a 1-1 draw with Eindhoven.
OLYMPIACOS-PANATHINAIKOS (20:15)

Only this year, they will be facing a transformed and strengthened Olympiacos in all titles that aims to take the reins from their eternal rival.
