Cup matches for the Quarter-Finals

Today's day includes a rich football menu and interest is soaring. Starting with ours, we have two Cup matches for the Quarter-Final Stage and note that they are the first games between the teams. Doxa hosts Paphos with the visitors being the favourites to qualify, but the first game is always important. Tonight we also have the "eternal" derby with Omonia welcoming APOEL to the crowded GSP.

The action continues in the Champions League with two more matches. Club Brugge host Benfica and Borussia Dortmund host Chelsea.

Below you will see in detail all the racing action.

DOXA-PAFOS FC (18:00)

In this particular pair of favorites for qualification is Paphos and no one disputes that. They are a better quality and superior team than Doxa, but in football we saw many surprises mainly in the institution of the Cup. The hosts will try today to get a positive result or the lead to increase their chances of qualifying for the rematch in Pafiakos. Certainly the primary goal of Kostas Sakkas' team is to stay in the league and it is not excluded that it will proceed to roteison in the Cup games with Paphos. On the contrary, the visitors want to take a qualifying lead from the first game and if they succeed they will make their task much easier in the replay.

OMONIA-APOEL (19:00)

Two very big games are expected between the two teams and qualification may be decided in both matches. But the one that burns the most to make it to the semifinals is Omonia. In the institution of the championship he has a bad course and the only thing he can achieve is to simply enter the top six. In order to finish the year positively and save it, it will have to win the Cup that will lead it to Europe, otherwise the year is considered lost. APOEL is presented with great seriousness and shows that it can claim both domestic titles. He is in good racing condition and on this he wants to build for qualification against the "greens" who are still looking for.
