Difficult test for Bayern, it is necessary for Nice to return to victory..

Two favourites are on the schedule for Friday in the major European championships. Bayern Munich will be tested at home by the promoted Augsburg, while Nis will be looking to get back to winning ways against Nis.

AUGSBURG-BAYERN MUNICH (21:30)
The 28th round of the German league opens with the match between Augsburg and Bayern Munich.
The guests have barely overcome the resistance of San Pauli and kept their +6 from Bayer Leverkusen. Today's outing is predicted to be a tough one, as they will face an opponent that has been quite upbeat in the last two months. Augsburg are seven games unbeaten, with four draws and three wins they moved away from the danger zone and are now eyeing a European ticket.
They are -3 from Leipzig and Freiburg, -4 from Gladbach and -6 from Mainz who are in 4th place leading to the Champions League.
In the first round match Bayern Munich won 3-0, which extended their winning streak against Augsburg to five matches. The home side last won 1-0 in September 2022.

NICE-NANTES (21:45)
Nis and Nantes will face each other in the first game of the 28th round of the French league, with the home side being the favourites to win.
Nice are looking for a reaction win and a counter-attack message against Nantes. The Nice side are coming off two defeats and a draw, results that challenge their current privileged 4th place position. Against weak Nantes, they are the favourites and must take advantage of their title to gain the right psychology for the difficult next leg.
The visitors are three points above the relegation play-offs and are fighting to avoid the drop. They were beaten by Le Havre last weekend and will be hoping not to couple the defeats at an admittedly difficult home ground.
A 1-1 draw ended the first round match.

GENOA-UDINESE (21:45)
The first game of the 31st round of the Italian league is expected to be a controversial one. The odds of the match bear witness to that. Genoa will host Udinese, with the two teams being virtually irrelevant in terms of points, as they are neither in danger nor chasing any distinction through the league.
However, they will be playing for arms' length and that could work in a positive way for football fans and bettors alike. The hosts are coming off a 1-0 defeat in Turin to Juventus, while the visitors are coming off a 2-1 away loss to Inter. In the first round match Genoa won 0-2. Udinese's last win came in 2020.
