Fire games for the sixth place in Cyprus, PAOK devastated, top derby in Madrid!

Saturday's schedule includes big games in Cyprus. The crashed PAOK are tested in Crete, while a summit derby between Madrid's two big teams will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu.
APOEL-APOLLON (17:00)
Apoel and Apollon will be looking for the victory that will give them a strong advantage for their presence in the first group in the league play-offs in the derby between them, which will be held at the GSP, for the 22nd round.
The blue-and-yellow club are in 5th place with 36 points, compared to 34 for the Limassol Blue and Whites, who are one step below. The two teams are on different paths. APOEL is steadily losing ground and Apollon is gaining. Sofronis Avgusti has brought smiles back to the ranks of the Limassol team and hopes to continue winning against his former team. Avgusti has faced APOEL 29 times with four different teams and has 10 wins, seven draws and 12 defeats.
In the first round, the two teams were stuck at 0-0.
AEL-ANORTHOSIS (19:00)
A few minutes after the end of the derby at GSP, the important game between AEL and Anorthosis will start. The "Lady" is on 32 points and in the sixth place, while the Limassol team remains disappointing and virtually without goals.
Marios Nikolaou is trying to motivate the players so that they can turn the switch. AEL are the only team yet to score in 2025 and he is optimistic they can do so against Anorthosis, who have conceded seven goals in their last few games.
The blue and whites of Famagusta have a strong motivation in terms of points, as if they win then they will automatically be either in the top six or within striking distance of it. Last weekend, AEL lost to AEK away from home, while Anorthosis drew with APOEL at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium. In the first round match, Anorthosis won 1-0.
OFI-PAOK (20:00)
PAOK suffered a 2-1 defeat to AEK Toumba last week, a result that derailed them from title contention. -10 is considered a long way off and there will have to be a sustained fightback if the bicephalos are to have any hope of defending their title. Today they will travel to Crete to face OFI, who are coming off a 3-2 loss to Panathinaikos in OAKA, despite leading 0-2. The Cretan team is a remarkable and respectable team and dangerous for any opponent.
Therefore, PAOK will have to make a significant improvement to get what they want.
The amount of danger that OFI is is reflected in the great win in Toumba in the first round match, a 1-2 upset.
REAL MADRID-ATLETICO MADRID (22:00)
Derby top will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night. Real Madrid will host Atletico for the 23rd round of the league. The two teams have a one-point difference, with the Queen enjoying the top spot, but threatened by their compatriot. Both are coming off cup qualifiers. Real beat Leganes 3-2 on the road, while Altetico thrashed Hetaffe 5-0 at home. The first round match ended in a 1-1 draw. 2022 was Real's last win in the league.
