The curtain opens with four games on the last matchday of the Club World Cup. Games for the first place in the groups and depending on the results, other teams are hoping for.
ATLETICO MADRID-BOTAVOGO (22:00) Atletico Madrid and Botafogo will cross their swords in praise of qualifying for the next round of the Club World Cup.
The Spanish team, after being slandered by Paris in the premiere, beat Seattle 3-1 and is on three points, three less than the pioneer and infallible Botafogo.
The Brazilian team made a surprise in the previous matchday. They beat European champion Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 and all they need to secure qualification is not to lose to Atletico Madrid.
Atletico is the favorite, but with Botafogo counting two out of two, the Spaniards will have to... perfect game to confirm their title.
SEATTLE-PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (22:00)
The surprise defeat by Botafogo did not cost Paris, since with a victory against the weakest team in the group, Seattle will qualify for the next phase.
The European champion, if it approaches the game with absolute seriousness, is not expected to face any particular problems, while in the event of a triple draw it has the upper hand due to the 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the premiere.
Seattle cannot hope and is expected to finish in last place in the group without a point.
INTER MIAMI V PALMEIRAS (04:00)
Inter Miami's big upset against Porto with the signing of Lionel Messi boosted hopes for qualification to the next phase of the competition.
The Argentine superstar's team will face Palmeira, who beat Al Ahli 2-0 and are at the top of the group with four points, as many as Inter Miami.
Palmeira is the favorite to win, but Inter Miami is under slight pressure on their performance. With a draw, the two teams will qualify hand in hand.
The victory that will give them hopes of qualification to the next phase will be sought by Porto and Al Ahli in the last matchday of the groups.
The two teams are in last place with just one point and three less than Inter Miami and Palmeiras who are fighting at the same time for the top spot in the group.
Victory, however, is not enough for either of them since there will have to be a loser in the other game.
Al Ahli's performance drops, but Porto remains favorites for the victory.
