Important games for Inter and Bayern with the match of the year in mind

Important games await Inter and Bayern Munich a few days after the first match between them and before the crucial meeting in Milan.

MANCHESTER CITY-CRYSTAL PALACE (14:30)

The game in Manchester between City and Crystal Palace opens the curtain on the 32nd round of the world's top league.
The hosts are desperate for a win to stay within striking distance or clinch a place in the next Champions League, unlike Palace who are safe. They are in the middle of the table, but have faint hopes of a European ticket.
Last week City were stuck on zero against hated rivals United, while Palace beat Brighton 2-1 at home.
A 2-2 draw ended the first round game.

INTER-CAGLIARY (19:00)

A huge double in Munich against Bayern turned Inter into favourites to qualify for the Champions League semi-finals.
The Nerazzurri have returned to their home base and are looking forward to the big meeting with the Germans, however, they still have one more important game waiting for them, in the league.
Inter are +3 from Napoli and cannot afford to approach tonight's game in a relaxed manner. Cagliari have shown that they have the squad to do the damage and therefore need to be very careful.
In the first round match Inter came away with a double, 3-0.

BAYERN - BORUSSIA DORDMUND (19:30)

More or less the same facts apply to Bayern Munich, who have an even more difficult task, as they have to manage the defeat against Inter and make the right management in the derby against Dortmund, in order to present themselves better in the Milan replay.
The Bavarians are +6 from Leverkusen and are desperate to maintain the gap in order to remain the firm favourites for the title. The positive for Bayern is the fact that they will host an unstable team that is coming off a 4-0 thrashing in Barcelona by Barcelona.
The visitors are in 8th place with 41 points and are -5 from the zone leading to the next Champions League.
The first round game ended in a draw (1-1), Dortmund got a double in last season's game at the Allianz Arena.

LEGANES-BARCELONA (22:00)

In the first round they shocked them with a huge double, it's time to take revenge. Barcelona will face Leganes for the 31st round of the Spanish league and will aim to return to winning ways after the draw with Betis.
The Blaugrana dismantled Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in midweek and will travel to Germany next week with qualification assured. As such, the special focus is on the league at the moment and keeping a +4 from Real Madrid.
Leganes are fighting for their salvation and are dangerous, something Barcelona are well aware of.
Flick's team are the logical favourites.
