Usually on Fridays we have enough racing action to prepare us for the weekend. Today's is the exception to the rule due to several intercalated matches in the previous days.

Essentially of the major European leagues, tonight we only have one match which is important in the Bundesliga. Mainz welcomes Schalke with both teams wanting to win for completely different reasons.

The hosts are favourites and definitely need a win to increase their chances of entering the top six of the Bundesliga with the aim of winning a European ticket. Historic Schalke, on the other hand, are in serious danger of relegation and are called upon to look for a point or points in today's difficult encounter to fight at least until the end to avoid the classification.

LEVERKUSEN-COLOGNE (21:30)

The hosts are in a very good competitive condition and are claiming entry into the top six and at the same time a European ticket. Victory against the very good but indifferent Cologne is the only way to increase their chances of realizing their great goal.
