Juropa and Conferences League night with Cypriot and Greek interest...

After the Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the Confederations League take over tonight. Note that for the Europa League the 3rd round is played and for the Conferences the 2nd round.
Lots of interesting games but the focus is on our three teams who have new European tests. First APOEL welcomes Borac Bania Luka and at the same time Omonia plays away against Harts. Shortly afterwards Paphos FC hosts Heidenheim.
As for the Greek teams playing in the Europa League, PAOK play at home against Victoria Plzen and Olympiacos play away against Malmö.
Finally, for the Conferences League, Panathinaikos will welcome Chelsea at the Olympic Stadium.

Below you can see all the match action in detail:

APOEL-BORAC BANJA LUKA (19:45)
APOEL will be looking to celebrate their first win in the League Phase of the Conferences League. In the opening game, the defending champions came out of the game with a 1-1 draw against Samroq Rovers away from home and even drew in stoppage time. The Cypriot team is the favorite, but the Bosnians are not a team of fun. They have proven it many times and recently, as they came out of the opening game with a 1-1 draw at home against Panathinaikos. Manolo Jimenez's players will have to put on their good European kit to win the game.

HEART-OMONIA (19:45)
Hearts go from bad to worse in this season's Scottish League (they are at the bottom), but in the opening game of the new Conferences League, they beat Dynamo Minsk 1-2 on the road. Either way, they are not a team to be feared and a serious, disciplined Omonia have the potential to escape with a double as well. It should be recalled that the Greens conceded four goals to Vikingur Reykjavik in the opening game.

PANATHINAIKOS - CHELSEA (19:45)
A historic game will take place tonight at the packed OAKA in Athens. Panathinaikos are looking for the big breakthrough against a Chelsea side who are off to their best start in recent years this season. In fact, the English side beat Ged 4-2 in the opening game and PAO stumbled against Borac Bania Luka (1-1). Chelsea are the favourites for the match, of course, with their double at 1.80, which is not a low price considering the circumstances of the match.

PAOK-VIKTORIA PLZEN (19:45)
If PAOK want to achieve anything in Europe this season, it is imperative that they beat the Czechs. Razvan Lucescu's players failed to pick up a point in the first two rounds, losing to Galatasaray and Steauawa. PAOK must take advantage of their home ground and not make the same mistakes they made against the Romanians. The Czechs, on the other hand, have two draws against Eintracht Frankfurt and Ludogorets. Plzen are a disciplined team and a formidable outfit.

PAFOS-HEIDENHEIM (22:00)
Another big challenge for Paphos as they welcome a Bundesliga team. Carcedo's players are in a very good competitive and psychological condition. It should be recalled that in the opening match they crushed Petrocub 1-4 on the road. But the Moldovans are one thing and the Germans are another. Heidenheim come to Cyprus, having made a very good performance so far in the Bundesliga and in the opening match of the Conferences League, they beat Olimpija Ljubljana at home.

MALMO - OLYMPIACOS (22:00)
This season's league is coming to an end and Malmo already have it in the bag this season. Thus, it can put its focus solely on the League Phase games of the Europa League. One loss and one win is the Swedes' record, after losing at home to Rangers in the opening game and subsequently winning away to Karabakh. Olympiacos has the same record, with one loss against Lyon and one win against Braga. It's a tight match between two good teams.
