Last day in La Liga 2 and many open fronts - AVS is a breath away from promotion in Portugal (Analyses and options)

All the major European leagues have been completed and we all now look forward to the start of EURO 2024. Tonight also sees the conclusion of Spain's amazing second division league and it is still up for grabs as to which teams will lock up direct promotion to the Primera Division (the only sure thing is Valladolid), which will enter the play-offs for the third ticket and which will say goodbye to the division.

We also find out tonight which of AVS or Portimonense will seal the ticket to promotion to Portugal's top flight.

Below you can see all the match action in detail:

LEGANES-ELCE (19:30)

The hosts seal their return to the Primera Division with a win against indifferent Elche and are not concerned about what Eibar, who are also in contention for direct promotion, will do.

TENERIFE-VALLADOLID (19:30)

The hosts are indifferent against the leaders who seal direct promotion and the title with a double.

EIBAR-REAL OVIEDO (19:30)

One of the most crucial games in this final round of fixtures, as both teams want a win in their quest for promotion. Eibar wants a win to even hope for direct promotion and at the same time end up in 3rd place, subsequently starting the playoffs. On the other hand, Oviedo also wants points to lock in a top six spot and be in the ear of the rest of the teams... what they will do.

MIRANTES-AMOREBIETA (19:30)

As fate would have it, the two teams will play for survival on the last day of the season. The home team will settle for a draw, no matter what happens in the remaining games. With a double, however, the visitors are the ones who will remain, regardless of the remaining results.

AVS-PORTIMONENSE (21:45)

AVS are ready to complete the big surprise and give them a promotion ticket to Portugal's top division and at the same time relegate Portimonense, who suffered a 2-1 home defeat to AVS, a team that finished 3rd in the second tier.
