Let's go 2-3 goals in APOEL-Omonia, Nottingham-City and the surprise of Omonia 29M!

Like every Saturday, today we have full racing action with many interesting games. Starting with ours, there are three more games in the 26th round of the Cyprus League. Of course, the "eternal" derby between APOEL and Omonia is the most important one. In the other two matches, Apollon hosts Nea Salamina and Omonia 29M hosts Anorthosis.
Of the rest of the schedule, we have a nice match in the Premier League between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
Several favorites were also gathered, which we'll look at in more detail below...
You can see all the action in detail below:
NOTTINGHAM FOREST-MANCHESTER CITY (14:30)
Nottingham Forest have spoiled us a bit in recent games as they have ignored the joy of winning in the last three Premier League games, registering two defeats and a draw. It sounds a bit strange, but this year's Nottingham are driving people crazy with their on-field performances and displays. They sit 3rd in the table with 48 points, followed by City in 4th with 47. No matter how many times we write it we don't believe it but that is the reality. Both teams are fighting to book a place in the top four first and then as good a finish as possible. But it's hard to break the Liverpool-Arsenal top two on the evidence so far. So it will be a battle for 3rd and 4th place.
APOEL-OMONIA (19:00)
Last year's champions are on a non-stop downhill slide and after their 3-0 defeat last week against Aris, it is very difficult for them to claim a European ticket through the league. Based on the standings that have been created, Paphos, Aris, Omonia and AEK will be in the top four. The "blue and yellow" are 12 points away from 4th place Omonia and if they just want to hope (for the 4th place which under certain conditions leads to Europe)... it is imperative that they return to winning or else they will compete in the play-offs only for their history and without any goals. It goes without saying that even with a win, APOEL's task remains difficult but if it doesn't come... then the season is mathematically over... On the other hand, Omonia is coming off a big win against leaders Paphos (2-1) and even with an upset at GSP. Giannis Anastasiou's team wants to celebrate their second win in a row, in order to "finish" APOEL and at the same time increase their chances for at least the 3rd place, which definitely leads to Europe.
APOLLON-NEA SALAMINA (19:00)
Apollon realized its goal from the last matchday which was to enter the top six. Its victory against Ethnikos and at the same time the defeat of Anorthosis, brought the band of Sofronis Avgusti mathematically into the top six. Now Apollon cannot achieve anything through the league and will give it all in the Cup. They are essentially indifferent, but that doesn't mean they won't fight all games. The visitors are in a bad position and the case for staying in the league has become even more difficult after another 2-3 home defeat to Omonia Ar. The 'reds' are stuck in the penultimate position and the consecutive losses against Omonia 29M and Omonia Ar. turned the task of staying alive into a very difficult task. The marble of bad performances was paid again by the coach at Nea Salamina and thus Savvas Poursaitidis was a thing of the past. Hector Gonzalez will now be on the bench. If the Reds escape the double today, at least they will send the message that they are "back" and will fight to the end, otherwise...
OMONIA 29M-ANORTHOSIS (19:00)
The sixth place case is mathematically over for Anorthosis, after their unexpected defeat at home to Carmiotissa. Now Mauro Camoranesi's side are completely unimportant and will play in the second group. The positive thing for the "Lady" is that they are never going to get into trouble. The home side will want to take advantage of the fact that their opponent is indifferent and build on their motivation to win before the playoffs begin. It's a tough task for the newcomers to stay up, but with a win tonight, they will fight it out as hard as they can for a big upset in the second round of the league.
