Let's go with (G/G) in Arsenal-Manchester, the victories for APOEL, AEK Athens and Omonia with combinations!
Another Sunday filled with several interesting and interesting matches. Starting with ours, week 18 continues with three matches. AEK and APOEL are the favorites and host Nea Salamina and Omonia 29M respectively. In the third match of the night and the most controversial, Omonia travel to Limassol to face AEL.
We also have action today for the FA Cup and all eyes are naturally on the super derby between Arsenal and Manchester United.
Below you can see all the action in detail:
ARSENAL-MANCHESTER UNITED (17:00)
A very big pair has emerged from the 3rd round draw of the FA Cup, with Arsenal facing trophy holders Manchester United as the hosts in a knockout clash. A very interesting game is expected and we don't even know if the coaches, especially Miguel Arteta, will make several changes to the squad. We do not think that Mr. Amorim on Manchester's side will not line up the best he has at his disposal, as this year the Red Devils are also very interested in this institution, especially with their progress in the league. Arsenal are logical favourites to both win and qualify for tonight's game, but Manchester proved against Liverpool the other day that they will always be a force to be reckoned with, even when they are not at their best.
AEK-NEA SALAMINA (17:00)
In the last two games, AEK Athens have picked up just one point and if they want to stay in the top flight, they need to return to winning ways against Nea Salamina. The Larnaca side are coming off a defeat against Omonia and subsequently drew with Ethnikos on the road. On the other hand, the 'reds' managed to get a point against APOEL and this positive result might work beneficially for Nea Salamina. Savvas Poursaitidis will also make his debut on the bench in the afternoon match, as he returned to lead the team to success again. This year the goal is essentially to avoid relegation.
APOEL-OMONIA 29M (18:00)
A game with clear favorites and that is APOEL. But Manolo Jimenez's players will have to prove it on the pitch as well in order to have an easy afternoon. The hosts are coming off new point losses (a draw with Nea Salamina) and the goal of winning the title again this season has become very difficult. Nobody also forgets that in the first round match Omonia 29M did the damage to the champions (0-0).
AEL-OMONIA (19:00)
They expected things differently this season at AEL and things have come to them differently. The team is faltering, they changed the coach, Marinos Satsias came in but the problematic performances continue. They are coming off a heavy 4-0 defeat to Paphos. It's not just the result, but the overall performance of AEL in the match was generally awful. They are desperately looking for a return to a positive result against Omonia. On the other hand, the Greens, where they were on the rise sending promising messages, suffered an unexpected 0-2 defeat to Anorthosis and a bumpy landing for Yiannis Anastasiou's side. A double is now a one-way street for Omonia if they want to stay in the race for the title.
