Mendes fights to loan Ronaldo to Napoli or Sporting
The summer transfer window is coming to an end, with Cristiano Ronaldo having played in Manchester United's last matches but still wanting to leave. According to the Independent, the Portuguese's agent, Jorge Mendes, is trying to exhaust the margins to find a team in his client, with the loan spell at Napoli or Sporting Lisbon being essentially the last option.
The duration of any loan could be two years, with United covering a portion of the player's earnings – which exceed half a million euros per week! The interest of the "red devils" in Victor Osimhen seemed likely to facilitate a deal with the Neapolitans, but the Italian club's demands exceed 100 million euros, an amount that United will eventually give for Ajax's Anthony.
Therefore, Ronaldo remains, for the time being, at Old Trafford...
