Monday with Super games!

The action continues on Monday with three interesting matches from Cyprus, Italy and England. AEK, Atalanta and Newcastle enter the battle aiming for the three points, but they are facing opponents who have their own reasons to claim a result and make it difficult for the favorites.
The champion AEK returns to action with the aim of maintaining the top, facing an Omonia Aradippou that has proven to be a particularly difficult opponent. Monday's game at the "AEK Arena" completes the 5th matchday and finds the two teams in a different ranking position, but with history adding interest to the match.
AEK is in first place and wants to continue its course with another victory, taking advantage of its home court. Omonia Aradippou, on the other hand, is in sixth place and will try to make it difficult for Larnaca, as it did in their last two matches.
In fact, in 2026, Aradippou's team has won twice against AEK. Last August, in a pre-season friendly at the "AEK Arena", they prevailed 1-0, while in February they had left victorious again, this time 2-1 for the championship. These results are a clear warning for AEK, which knows that its task will be anything but easy.
Atalanta welcomes Venezia to Bergamo, aiming to return to winning ways and leave behind the defeat by Juventus.
The Bergamo team has the upper hand in the recent tradition, as in the last five games between them they have four wins and one draw. The last league meeting, however, ended goalless, with both teams remaining at 0-0 on March 1, 2025.
Atalanta is also called upon to manage significant absences. Giacomo Raspadori, Odilon Kosunu, Kamaldin Sulemana and Isak Hien are out of the plans, limiting the available options. The problems are even bigger for Venezia, which will line up with several absences, including Bussio, Dagaso, Basic, Frannic, Adorante, Sverko and Happs.
The numbers, however, give a clear lead to Atalanta, with the chances of victory estimated at 61.4%, compared to 17.2% for Venezia. What is required for the hosts is to confirm the role of the favorites on the pitch and get the three points that will allow them to make a fresh start.
Newcastle travels to the home of the newly enlightened Coventry, in a match that closes the 6th matchday of the Premier League and is of particular interest. The "Magpies" are in ninth place and want to get closer to the highest places, while Coventry is in 18th place and is fighting its own battle for survival.
The home team got a significant psychological boost in their last game, celebrating their first victory in the league. The 0-1 draw against Nottingham Forest was an important breath in the standings and gave the team the necessary confidence in view of the difficult continuation. Now they are called upon to present a similar image in front of their fans.
Newcastle, on the other hand, has managed to be in the top half of the standings and wants to continue on the rise. Matthias Yaisle's team knows that such games are an opportunity for an important three points, but the break for the national teams always raises questions as to competitive readiness.
Yaisle is waiting for the return of his last international players, with the main priority being to complete the pre-season without any new injury problems.
