On the road to Munich and Abu Dhabi

Great matches in the Euroleague and Champions League will take place on Tuesday night, with basketball fans having two options and football fans waiting for the start of the match between Arsenal and Paris in the first match of the semi-final phase.

PARIS-FENERBACHE (21:30)

Fenerbahce are one win away from the Abu Dhabi Final 4. The Turkish team leads 2-0 in wins and needs one more to become the first team to secure a ticket to the big basketball rendezvous that will take place outside Europe.

Jasikevicius' team is having a very good season and aims to return to the top, but to do so, they will first have to eliminate the pleasant surprise of the Euroleague that goes by the name of Paris.

The French team had an impressive first round, beating all their big rivals, but in their first playoff appearance they showed their inexperience in such games. In the first match in Istanbul they lost by 5 points, but in the next one they lost by 17.

Tonight they are hopeful to take advantage of their home court and shorten the series and stay in the mix.

REAL MADRID-OLIMPIACOS (22:00)

A big game will be played in Madrid, with Olympiacos being called upon to beat Real Madrid once again in this year's Euroleague and to get the ticket to Abu Dhabi.

The reds have shown their superiority over the queen in all four games this season and have won all of them, inside and out and by significant margins.

Giorgos Bartzokas' team knows very well that you don't give chances against such teams. They did it in the 2023 Euroleague final and paid dearly for it with a Yul basket in the final minutes of the game and lost 80-79.

That final was a highlight for the Piraeus team, as they were clearly the superior team in Europe, but in the end they tasted the bitterness of failure.

Tonight they have the chance to change the situation, but also history, since as the best team in the competition so far they are aiming for the precious trophy.

ARSENAL-PSG(22:00)

The match in London between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain opens the curtain on the semi-final phase of the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The two teams are in the semi-finals by a landslide and will be fighting for a ticket to the grand final on May 31 at the Allianz Arena with roughly the same odds.

Arsenal reached the semi-final by eliminating title holders Real Madrid with two wins, 3-0 at home and 2-1 away. Paris eliminated Aston Villa with great difficulty in the replay. They won the first game in an upset 3-1 and lost the England game 3-2.

The third visit of the knockout games Paris hopes to have the performance they had against Liverpool to take a step towards qualifying for the final. Of course, Arsenal are not joking at all and are very suspect for today's game, as they want to take advantage of the home ground and go to Paris with an advantage.

The two teams met in the League Phase in London, with Arsenal winning 2-0. They also met in 2016 in the group stages of the top inter-club competition, with the two games ending in a 2-2 draw in England and 1-1 in France.
