Premiere in 5th and 6th Group of the World Cup!

Continuation of the action at the World Cup in Qatar with four more matches. The teams of the 5th and 6th Groups make their premiere today.

See today's program in detail:

12:00 Morocco – Croatia (Group 6), (Al-Bayt Stadium, Al-Khor)

The arrival of Walid Regagui on the Moroccan bench (after the divorce with Bosnian coach Vahid Khalilhozic who had several issues with many players) brought another air to the team. Morocco currently has several quality players on its roster who excel in big clubs in Europe and beyond. Certainly things in his Group are difficult to qualify with the presence of Croatia and Belgium but they will try their best. It should be noted, however, that Morocco counts 5 consecutive matches without conceding defeat.

Ready for big things and in this tournament is Croatia. In the previous tournament it reached the final but was defeated by the great France. The team's coach Zlatko Dalic is doing an excellent job and they hope for a very good run in Qatar as well. The Croatians are undefeated in their last 6 official matches...

15:00 Germany - Japan (5th group), (Khalifa International Stadium, Doha)

The Germans have had ups and downs in their performance in the last few competitions. After winning the World Cup in 2014, both the 2018 World Cup and Yuro 21 did not have good performances. Even in the recent Nations League they ended up 3rd in the Group. On the contrary, in the World Cup Qualifiers he took the lead in the 10th group. In addition to the inexperienced Kimich, Gidogan Havertz, Gnabry and the up-and-coming Musialla, it also has the demon Mukoko who seems to be the new shining star of football.

For yet another year, Japan is present in the World Cup finals (7th consecutive year). On the bench since 2018 is Jaime Moriyasu (39-8-11 with him). 8 of the 26 players in its mission play for German clubs and we must bear that in mind.

18:00 Spain – Costa Rica (5th group), (Al-Tumama Stadium, Doha)

The Spaniards want to lift the World Cup again after 2010 and look all set for it. In the Qualifiers they took first place with four consecutive wins in the last as many matches without conceding a goal. Luis Enrique has world-class players on the roster and the Spaniards are ready to come back stronger...

No one can write off Costa Rica. If you remember correctly in 2014, he had won a similar group with Italy, England and Uruguay, and then eliminated Greece in the "16". This year it is again in a difficult Group against Germany, Spain and Japan but can still make the surprise. Luis Fernando Suarez has been on the bench for a year and a half. It relies mostly on players who have been playing together for many years, 4 of them have triple-digit entries (Kaylor Navas, Borges, Ruis and Campbell).

21:00 Belgium – Canada (Group 6), (Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Al-Rayyan)

The Belgians, who have great footballers but have not achieved anything extraordinary so far, always start with enthusiasm. Their best achievement was the 3rd place in the World Cup in Russia. Roberto Martinez believes that in Qatar his team will go all the way.

On the other hand, Canada is present for the second time in the finals of the World Cup. He made very good qualifiers as he finished first in a tie with Mexico. Team coach John Herdman has a very good material in his hands. Stephen Eustacio (Porto), Hutchinson (Besiktas), Larin (Club Brugge), Davis (Bayern) and David (Lille) are of course the players the Canadian coach expects a lot before the team can make the surprise.
