Premiere in the Europa League with a difficult mission for Olympiacos and big favorite Tottenham.

The second day of the Europa League premiere will take place on Thursday night, with Olympiacos Piraeus facing Lyon on the road. An interesting match in Italy between Roma and Athletic Bilbao, with Tottenham big favourites against Karabakh.

LYON - OLYMPIACOS PIREUS (22:00)
A tough test awaits Olympiacos Piraeus in France for the premiere of the Europa League. The Greek team will face Lyon and is hopeful to return to their home base with a win.
Both teams are going through a problematic competitive situation. Both are coming off unexpected defeats, albeit in games with a high degree of difficulty. Olympiacos lost to Aris in Thessaloniki, while Lyon lost an upset and with a numerical advantage to Marseille 2-3.
As such, they also see today's match as a compass to get back on track.
The French are the favourites, mainly because of their home ground.

ROMA-ATHLETIC BILBAO (22:00)
A controversial game is predicted in Rome, between the homonymous team and Athletic Bilbao.
Roma are the boiling pot. The sacking of Daniele De Rossi has infuriated the Gialorossi fans, with the situation looking dangerous. However, last week's 3-0 win over Udinese has somewhat reduced the tension, although a spark is capable of reigniting the tension. In order not to test the situation, the home side are aiming for another win against a serious and in-form opponent.
Bilbao are coming off three consecutive wins in Spain, have found their bearings and travelled to Rome with high expectations.
And in this pair the home court is the favourite.

TOTTENHAM-QARABAG (22:00)
Big advantage of victory is given by the betting companies to Tottenham. The "roosters" will host Karabakh in London and if they approach the game with the necessary seriousness, they will have the first reason to win the opening match.
Tottenham beat Brentford 3-1 last week and will face Manchester United away next Sunday. The game in Manchester at the moment seems more important for the English side, who may make changes to their eleven for tonight's game.
And doing so, of course, does not mean that they will appear weakened, since they have a very quality roster, and the opponent is also inferior.
Karabakh is a force to be reckoned with in qualifying, but in the main stages of European competitions they have nothing to show for it. They are coming off an easy 4-0 win over Nefci Baku, but in Azerbaijan they are playing alone.
Justified ace at such low odds, as everything will depend on the appetites of the home team.
