Sunday full of action...

Sunday today with the football menu being rich as is customary every week on such a day. As it is known in Cyprus there are no matches scheduled for today due to the second round of the Presidential Elections. In the rest of Europe (and not only) they normally play ball and interest is soaring. In Greece, the pioneer Panathinaikos travels to Thessaloniki to face Aris. A difficult exit for Barcelona, hosted by the always calculating Villarreal. In the Premier League they are again called Leeds and Manchester United, while Manchester City are the favourites at home against Aston Villa.

ARIS-PANATHINAIKOS (20:00)

After thethird consecutive defeat of Aris, the team's coach Alan Pardiou became a thing of the past. It is a fact that the "yellow-blacks" did not present a good face at all and so the management of the team released the English coach and changed technical leadership for the second time this year. It should be remembered that the Englishman replaced the Spaniard Burgos. Now, The reins of Aris are taken over by an old old old man (Tolis Terzis) who will be in charge until the end of the period. Against the pioneer Panathinaikos, they want the hosts to make a new start and perhaps the change in technical leadership will change their psychology, playing better football. On the other hand, the "greens" returned to victories by beating Lamia 2-0, but in order to be able to escape with the double from Thessaloniki, they will have to increase their performance by a lot.
