Sunday full of action: APOEL-Omonia, AEL-Anorthosis and Spain-Germany...

The interest of football fans may be focused on the World Cup, but Cyprus Football continues and today, in the context of Matchday 12, two very big games will take place. The "eternal" derby APOEL-Omonia and in Tsirio AEL will welcome Anorthosis. Two fire matches that will judge a lot about the continuation of the championship.
APOEL-Omonia (17:00)
After many years we will enjoy the derby of the "eternals" in a crowded GSP. The fans of the two teams will be present en masse and this gives an extra beauty to the big game. In much better scoring and racing condition the "blue-yellows" who exceed the "green" eight points in the standings. After several years we see such a scene with Omonia playing with their backs to the wall if they want to come back and claim something this year. APOEL coach Vladan Milojevic will face for the first time his former team that brought him to Cyprus Football for the first time.
AEL-Anorthosis (19:00)
The two teams started this year's marathon with enthusiasm but things did not turn out as expected. More or less they are actually making the same bad start. This is evidenced by the performance so far and the numbers compared between the two teams. In 11 games they scored from 4 wins, 2 draws and lost in 5 matches. AEL scored 10 goals and the "Lady" one more (11). Anorthosis conceded 14 goals and AEL 10. The Limassol team conceded 10 goals, Anorthosis 14 with the two gladiators having 14 points. Things are clear for both of them. They will make an effort to enter the top six. Whoever wins the match will have a lead. A draw is virtually no favouring anyone.
In the World Cup now, today will be held the second matchday in 5th and 6th Group, which after the games of the first matchday, is expected with great interest. The big game between Spain and Germany dominates.
