The 2-3 goals in the AEK-PAFOS and PAO-PAOK derbies, the motivation of Omonia (2.50) and the 5 team with 4.10 odds...

Another busy Sunday with a super derby. In Cyprus and Greece we have the first group play-off matches and especially after the results of the previous round, now there is new interest.
Great matches are also taking place in the Campionato and the Premier League which we will see in more detail below...
Below you will see all the action in detail:
AEK LARNACA-PAFOS FC (19:00)
A return to victories is the only thing both teams need to achieve in their quest to realize their goals. The Larnaca side are fighting to lock a place in the top three leading to a European ticket through the league, while the visitors are fighting to take an important step towards winning the title. The hosts are coming off an away draw with Apollon (1-1) and the visitors were beaten 0-1 by indifferent APOEL. In fact, if they won, they would move to +9 from second-placed Aris, who were also beaten by Omonia. The positive thing for the leaders is that they kept their six-point difference.
APOEL-OMONIA (19:00)
No matter how many problems Apoel is facing, no matter how wounded they are, it is forbidden to underestimate them. That's what the leader Paphos did and they paid for it. Seven-soul APOEL, scored their first playoff win with a 1-0 victory at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium with El Arabi as the savior! The "blue-yellows" are basically indifferent, but they are playing for their history. On the other hand, Omonia showed character and returned to winning, beating Aris 2-1, with Loizou and Fabiano having a great night. Now the "Greens", have a legitimate hope of taking the 3rd place that leads... to Europe. Yannis Anastasiou's band wants to continue their success tonight against the indifferent, but serious APOEL.
ARIS-APOLLON (19:00)
Aris threw away another chance to "return" to the championship contention. Where Paphos were beaten at home by APOEL, Alexei Spilevski's side were also defeated on the road by Omonia. When you chase a team and don't take advantage of their missteps, it is very difficult to realize their goal. Aris is not at its best, coming off two defeats in the playoffs. In fact, in a total of four games, they only beat APOEL in the opening game. Against fellow city Apollon, they want a return to winning ways and will wait for any misstep by Pafos in Larnaca against AEK. A few 24 hours ago, it was even announced that Spilefski, after a successful three years, will leave the Aris bench at the end of the season. We do not know whether this development will affect Aris and how much. The visitors are indifferent, but they fight on equal terms in all games. That's what they did against AEK (1-1) last season.
PANATHINAIKOS-PAOK (19:00)
Panathinaikos was more efficient, showed that they have a pulse and took the lead for the 2nd place, beating AEK Athens 3-1 in OAKA for the 2nd round of the play-offs for the positions 1-4. Rui Vitoria's changes were crucial, as he threw in Cherin, Djurisic and Yeremeyev, with the latter two finding the net to give the Greens the win, who moved up to 53 points, the same as Union, but with the tie in their favour. On the other hand, PAOK. after AEK Athens, also beat Olympiacos in Toumba! Cashing in on a tremendous first half, the "bicephalos to the north" prevailed 2-1 over the Piraeus side and continue to be absolute playoff contenders. It's a match-up tonight and is expected to be very interesting. If there is a winner in the derby, then they get a lead for the 2nd place. It will be a great battle to the end between PAO, AEK and PAOK for that particular spot leading to the Champions League.
OLYMPIACOS-AEK (21:00)
Olympiacos suffered its first defeat in the league, losing 2-1 to PAOK in Toumba for the second day of the Super League play-offs. The Piraeus team lost for the first time since October 27, 2024, when they were beaten 1-0 by Asteras in Tripoli. Since then, the 'reds' have had 15 wins and 3 draws in those 18 games. But the reds remain the firm favourites to win the title and with a potential win tonight... then they touch the league. The visitors are coming off a 3-1 defeat to PAO. Maybe the result does them an injustice based on their performance, but that's what counts in football. Their realistic goal is 2nd place, but if they don't start getting wins, they will lose that goal this season as well.
