The City-Real match and the Sporting-Dortmund match, the double of Paris and the 2-3 goals in Turin...

The League Phase of the Champions League was just the first course and now that we are entering the... and get ready for new matchups! The draw was in high spirits and it starts tonight with the first four games.
Manchester City have been drawn against Real Madrid for the last 16 playoffs, and that means one of them will say goodbye to the competition very early on.
The first battle between the two teams will take place tonight. In the other three games on the night, Brest host Paris and Juventus host PSV. In the fourth match, Sporting Lisbon hosts Borussia Dortmund.
The first matches of this phase of the Champions League will be played tonight and tomorrow, while the second legs will be played on 18 and 19 February.
The first game will be hosted by the teams that finished in one of the 17-24 positions and the rematch will be hosted by the teams that finished in the 9-16 positions.
Here are the play-off pairings and in brackets their potential opponents in the last 16 of the Champions League:
Brugge-Atalanta (Lille/Aston Villa)
Sporting-Dortmund (Lille/Aston Villa)
Manchester City - Real Madrid (Atletico/Livercusen)
Celtic vs Bayern (Atletico/Levercusen)
Juventus-PSV (Arsenal/Inter)
Feyenoord-Milan (Arsenal/Inter)
Benfica-Monaco (Liverpool/Barcelona)
Brest-Paris (Liverpool/Barcelona)
Below you can see all the match action in detail:
BREST-PSG (19:45)
Pairing with Paris as clear favourites to qualify. Sure, Brest have been driving people crazy with their performances in the League Phase of the Champions League this season, but Paris are a superior and higher quality team. This was evident in the recent league game between the two teams with Paris winning 2-5 on the road! Tonight's match will certainly be different, but Paris are still the super favourites.
JUVENTUS-PSV (22:00)
Despite a 0-2 home defeat to Benfica, Juventus nevertheless managed to book a place in the Champions League League League League Phase 24. The Italians will have to step up their performance dramatically if they want to get past the barrier of the excellent PSV this season. The Dutch are making a strong claim for the Dutch title and qualified 14th in the League Phase. In the last game they even won an upset over Liverpool (3-2), but the team also showed up with several changes, as they had the league title locked up.
MANCHESTER CITY-REAL MADRID (22:00)
A fairly common pair in the competition, with their last battle being last season for the Champions League quarter-finals, where the Queen's side qualified on penalties and then went on to win the trophy. The two teams will in fact face each other for the fifth time in the last six years. What is impressive is that in the twelve games in their history between them, City and Real have each won four, while four other matches have ended without a winner. Perfect balance that is... Let's see what happens tonight in the first meeting between the two teams. However, City's performance this season has been troubling and we are sure that even the most pessimistic fan would not have expected this kind of competitive mess for Pep Guardiola's once invulnerable team this season. However, in the league they are fighting for a top four finish. It can no longer claim to be challenging for the title. On the other hand, Queen's, also this season, has had its odds fluctuate but is in a better position than City.
SPORTING-BORUSSIA DORTMUND (22:00)
Here we have a two-legged pair again with all scenarios possible. The Portuguese managed in the end to finish 23rd and make the playoffs. However, they are doing much better in the Portuguese league compared to the Champions League. Dortmund, on the other hand, ended up 10th in the League Phase and seem to have put their weight on the Champions League, because in the Bundesliga they are a bit behind although they can still challenge for a top four spot.
