The favourites in Cyprus, the derby in Limassol, Arsenal's double, the four favourites in "BoykieCo" and not only...

Like every Saturday, we have plenty of football action today. Lots of important games all over Europe.
Starting with ours, the 9th round continues with three more matches. The derby between Apollon and APOEL is definitely the most important one. In the other two games, Omonia and Paphos are the big favorites against Omonia 29M and Omonia No. respectively.
In the Premier League, Arsenal have a tough outing against unpredictable Newcastle away from home.
In the Bundesliga we have the derby between Dortmund and Leipzig and in the Campionato Udinese-Juventus.

NEWCASTLE-ARCENAL (14:30)
Newcastle's owners have poured money in again, but it seems hard to see them achieving anything this season in the Premier League. The Miners have not tasted the joy of victory in their last five games in the league. In particular, they count three defeats and two draws. They lost away to Chelsea last weekend and have just one win in 30 matches at Stamford Bridge at Premier League level. They want to get back to winning ways against Arsenal who came out of the derby tied with Liverpool (2-2).

APOLLON-APOEL (18:00)
A very interesting game is expected in Limassol between two quality teams. The hosts may be coming off two straight wins against Omonia 29M and Omonia No. but they did not convince with their performance. Against the champions they will measure their strengths and show what they can achieve this season. On the other hand, APOEL, without being tempted by their performance, won 2-0 at home against Anorthosis and go to Limassol to extend their winning streak.

OMONIA-OMONIA 29M (19:00)
We'll live to see this one. Nobody would have ever expected this kind of development years ago, but in life many things come that you don't expect. So the historic Omonia will face Omonia 29M, which years ago was the core of organized fans of the classic Nicosia Homonia Nicosia. They disagreed with some events, left and formed a new group from the rural one. Within a few years they were promoted to the first division and tonight they play each other... Unprecedented moments for all of us. The home team, after a series of negative results, broke out at Carmiotissa, beating them 2-6 on the road. Omonia 29M played good football once again, but were beaten by Paphos 1-2 at home.

PAPHOS FC-OMONOIA AR. (19:00)
This season's Paphos is used to winning these kinds of games and especially at home. It is a given that a serious and disciplined Paphos, may get another three points. Omonia Ar. is once again the underdog, but will play without stress and whatever comes out. However, the "doves" proved last week (they were beaten at home by Apollon after an unlucky moment by Loria), that despite their limited budget they have built a good team that can see all opponents on equal terms.

UDINESE-JUVENTUS (19:00)
Very interesting game between two good teams. This year's Juventus is back in high spirits and looks capable of challenging for the league until the end. As for the home team Udinese, it is no coincidence that they are in the top and very few points difference from the teams ahead of them.

DORTMUND-LEIPZIG (19:30)
Completely unpredictable this season is Dortmund. One game they play impressively, beating excellent teams and in other games they are not seen. Last week they lost 2-1 away to Augsburg, after a heavy 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid in Europe preceded it. Highly contrasting this season, Leipzig are impressing with their performances. They are tied with Bayern Munich and have conceded just three goals so far in the league. Last weekend they beat Freiburg 3-1 at home and celebrated their fourth consecutive win in the Bundesliga. Disproportionate odds based on the two teams' form and form, but logically the home side's hot home ground played a role.
