With three very interesting matches the 6th day of the Cyprus Championship continues today. The "Varosian" derby between Anorthosis and Nea Salamina. Open match is also AEL - Ethnikos Ahna. A crucial match for the lower zone between Omonia 29M and Omonia Ar.
The rest of the schedule is dominated by the matches between Ueon Berlin-Dortmund, Inter-Turin and Real Madrid-Viyarreal.

UNION BERLIN-BORUSSIA (16:30)
Union Berlin's unbeaten run came to an end against Gladbach, who beat Union 1-0 in the final thanks to a goal scored by Thomas Zwanzara. Defeat was once going to come for the hosts who have already picked up eight points so far and it's a good haul. They host Dortmund tonight, who returned to winning ways against Bochum (4-2), playing some nice football at times.

OMONIA 29M-OMONIA ARADIPPOU (18:00)
We may be at the beginning of the league, but this game is very important for both teams in their efforts to avoid relegation. Let's not forget that in the end in the tie... it's the games between the teams that count. Omonia29M, making a good performance, made a surprise by celebrating a point against APOEL. This draw can be described as historic for the newcomers. On the other hand, Omonia Ar. with a very small manager made a very good team and fought every game. In their last match they came out with a 1-1 draw against Carmiotissa.

AEL-ETHNIKOS ACHNAS (19:00)
AEL started the away derby against Omonia in an ideal way (after scoring in the 8th minute), but they didn't manage it well and deservedly lost 3-1. It's the third defeat in a row for Coleman's team, who will be desperate to get back to winning ways against Ethnikos to end the bad streak. AEL's task will not be easy. Ethnikos Ahna has put together a very good team this year as well. They proved it again against Anorthosis. They managed to take a 2-0 lead, but in the end they were tied 2-2.

ANORTHOSIS-NEA SALAMINA (19:00)
Another "Varosian" derby away from the city of Famagusta, which is expected with great interest again this year. Anorthosis "saved" the point in Dasaki, after losing 2-0 and then managed to equalize. The way the game turned out, the point is important for Yiannis Okka's team. On the other hand, Nea Salamina is coming off three straight losses against Paphos, APOEL and AEK. Super favourites at odds, Inter are starting to find their feet after a numb start. They are coming off an away win in the league against Udinese 2-3. On the other hand, Torino suffered a home defeat to Lazio (2-3). However, both teams have 11 points each in the standings and this cannot go unnoticed.

REAL MADRID-VILLARREAL (22:00)
More or less, we have the same facts here as well. It goes without saying that Real Madrid are the big favourites to win, but Villarreal's start this season cannot go unnoticed. They are a good and organised team that looks like they will give everyone a hard time.
