Two more teams on the European stage - Triple Cypriot representation on Thursday with great odds and big profits

Cyprus will have a triple representation on Thursday in UEFA competitions. After AEK and Paphos, Aris and Omonia will be presented on the European stage.

ARIS-ACADEMIA POUSKAS (19:00)

The two very strong transfer moves of Aris with the acquisition of Andronikos Kakoullis and Charalambos Charalambous, covered the significant losses of Bengtson and Struski and restored optimism in the team's ranks. The light brigade showed that it not only sells, but also buys when something interesting arises and does it with a bang.

Aris will seek to take advantage of this optimism and change in climate and take the first step towards qualifying for the third qualifying round of the Conference League. The Limassol team will face Puskas Academy in Cyprus and has all the background to fulfill its first goal which is to get the positive result and gain a qualification lead.

The Hungarians are dangerous and it will take a huge effort from Aris to get what they want.

Aris is the favorite for the victory, the qualification odds are divided.

OMONIA-TORPEDO KOUTAISI (20:00)

The first step to qualify for the next round will be attempted by Omonia tonight at the GSP against Torpedo Kutaisi for the second qualifying round of the Conference League.

The Greens go into the game with the title of favorite and are called upon to confirm it on the pitch. It is very important for Omonia to present a good competitive face and satisfy its fans. The image and the results of the friendlies caused some numbness to the team's fans, who at the beginning of the week suffered a small shock from the sale of one of their favorite players, Hambou Charalambous.

Torpedo Kutaisi qualified for the second round, eliminating Ordnabashi, a result that was considered a surprise, since the Cossacks were the favorites.

Omonia is the big favorite to repeat what it was last year. To qualify at the expense of the Georgians. Last season, the Cypriot team started its European journey against the same opponent and qualified with two victories, 1-2 in Georgia and 3-1 in Cyprus.

TSEJE-AEK (21:00)

AEK is called upon to overcome the obstacle of Celje in order to reach the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

The first test will be in Slovenia, with AEK wanting to get the result that will allow it to hope for the second leg at home.

The two teams qualified in a similar way. Celje needed the half-hour extra time and AEK the thankless penalty shootout against Partizan with Alomerovic as a big protagonist.

Celje is a pretty good team and showed it with its presence last year in the Conference League, where, among other things, it eliminated APOEL.

The hosts have a small lead for victory in the first match, with the odds for qualification in balance.
