We go to the... stars via Bookieco - Machares in Italy, premiere for the Queen in the Champions League premiere
All eyes of world football are on the League Phase of the Champions League, which will premiere tonight.
The staging of the premier inter-club competition has been changed and everyone is looking forward to the action on stage.
Lots of huge games will be seen in this phase with the first taking place tonight, with Milan hosting Liverpool.
JUVENTUS-EINDHOVEN (19:45)
A big game will take place tonight in Turin. Juventus will host Eindhoven with both teams having high expectations from this fixture.
The home side are rightfully the favourites, but the Dutch side have travelled to Italy to spoil the celebrations that the fans of the 'Big Lady' are preparing.
Juventus are returning to the big stage of European football and will be hoping to combine it successfully. However, against them will have a team of quite a high quality, which last season went through the group stages.
MILAN-LIVERPOOL (22:00)
The biggest game of the night will also take place in Italy, but in Milan, with Milan welcoming Liverpool.
Both teams have a huge tradition in the top inter-club competition and carry a huge legacy. Trophy-winning and with goals that, based on their history, reach for the sky where UEFA stars are.
Liverpool are in much better form and have had some excellent Champions League appearances in recent years, unlike Milan who are struggling to find their footing.
The English are favourites to win, but they will have to prove it in practice in the hot Meacha.
REAL MADRID - STUTTGART (22:00)
The top team in the world and European champions enter the new competition with the usual demands. Winning the trophy. Real Madrid was created to do that and they have done it successfully in their vast history. The multi-time winners of the competition are aiming to add another star. After all, they are doomed to challenge for every trophy available every year.
In their opening match the "Queen" will host Stuttgart and are the big favourites to win. The German team returns after years to the stage where the top European clubs participate and hopes to drop the first big... bomb in the temple of football in the competition.
