We go with (G/G) in the super derby Pafos - Aris, the motivation with Freiburg, Chelsea, the ace of Roma and not only...

A Sunday full of derbies and no introduction to such football nights is even needed. We've got it and we're talking: Paphos FC-Aris Limassol, Chelsea-Liverpool, Freiburg-Levercusen, Roma-Fiorentina, Bologna-Juventus, AEK-PAO and Olympiacos-PAOK.
All of these will be discussed in more detail below...

Below you will see all the action in detail:

FREIBURG-BAYER LEVERKUSEN (18:30)
Freiburg won their third straight game (0-1 against Wolfsburg) and moved into the top four of the Bundesliga, which leads to the League Phase of the Champions League. The home side have generally returned to good form and will be looking to follow that up tonight. The visitors are essentially irrelevant as they will end up in 2nd place. However, this should be exploited by the hosts who have a greater motivation to score.

CHELSEA-LIVERPOOL (18:30)
With the excellent Nicholas Jackson scoring, Chelsea did their duty against Everton (1-0) and climbed back into the top five, putting a new... stone in the thriller of the "battle" for the next Champions League. On the other hand, Liverpool... threw a party at the festive "Anfield" with guest Tottenham and climbed back to the top of English football! The "Reds" needed at least a draw in their home game against Tottenham in order to become the mathematical champions of England for the 20th time in their history and although they were behind early (12 minutes), they turned the game around before 25 minutes and celebrated an emphatic 5-1 victory! Thus, Arne Slott's side secured this season's Premier League title with four rounds remaining in the league final.

PAFOS FC-ARIS LIMASSOL (19:00)
And yet the league is not over yet! Just when the leader Paphos escaped from second-placed Aris at +7, the results of the previous matchday set the league on fire again! Paphi were beaten 3-0 by Omonia away from home and Aris took advantage of this as they beat AEK 1-0 to move to -4 from the top. From here one can easily understand the importance of tonight's big derby. The home team, with a win, ends the title case, but with a draw they have a big lead again. But in case of a double for Aris, then anything can happen in the last two rounds.

OMONOIA-APOLLON (19:00)
The two teams had a Cup match midweek and the second leg will follow next week. But they leave the Cup competition because tonight's game is for the league. The scoring motivation here is one-sided as well. Omonia, after their 3-0 win against Paphos and at the same time AEK's defeat against Aris, are back with a vengeance in their quest for 3rd place which leads to a European ticket through the league. On the other hand, Apollon are completely indifferent and it is logical that Sofronis Avgusti will also make several changes to the starting line-up ahead of the second leg against Paphos in three nights time.

AEK LARNACA - APOEL (19:00)
The Larnaca players play in a double-header, aiming for the 3rd place in the league and at the same time the qualification for the Cup final. The rematch with Omonia is in three nights, but they can't ignore tonight's game. They can now feel the hot breath of Omonia (after the results of the previous round) who are also fighting for 3rd place. The visitors, however, may have run out of goals, but they are playing freely and have changed their image for the better with Vangelis Samios on the bench.

ROMA-FIORENTINA (19:00)
It's been a disastrous few days for Inter, with Roma getting a 1-0 double at the Giuseppe Meazza and Claudio Ranieri's side now have a reasonable hope of a European exit. Tonight's derby against Fiorentina, who also have the same goal, is important and crucial. The Viola imposed their strength against struggling Empoli (2-1) at the Artemio Franchi and tonight they will go all out for the double with the ultimate aim of increasing their chances of breaking into the top six even more.
